The Scents of Aurora Sage: A Sensory Ritual
I am a sensory driven person. Beyond just the visuals, I take in the soft touch of silk, the way the air is perfumed with flowers in bloom, the perfect music in the background to set the mood- an entire ambiance created by a harmony of the senses.
When I began Aurora Sage, I wanted my customers to step into this world with me, to not just see my creations, but to feel them, to breathe them in. At first, I blended a simple mist of Bulgarian rose and sandalwood essential oils, a finishing touch to scent the silks and packaging. I wanted every unboxing to be an experience, to envelop my customers in the essence of Aurora Sage.
But I knew this was just the beginning. Eventually, I connected with a perfumer in Los Angeles to refine my vision into something even more exquisite- an official Aurora Sage signature scent. And so, Le Sacrement was born.
Le Sacrement – The Sacrament
A scent of devotion. A ritual in a bottle. Le Sacrement is a seductive blend of heart-opening rose, sensual soft musk, grounding sheer patchouli, and the elevating brightness of lemon and bergamot. It is a whisper, soft and sensual, drawing admirers in close, tempting them to lean in for more. It clings to the skin like a secret, unfolding in warmth. Nostalgic yet timeless, comforting yet intoxicating. It is more than a scent, it is a sacrament.
Not long after launching Le Sacrement, I invited my perfumer to my studio and led him outside to my garden.
“Smell that?” I asked. “That’s Los Angeles in the spring. I want to bottle this.”
And so began the creation of La Trinité.
Springtime in LA is unlike anywhere else. The air is perfumed with the scent of jasmine in bloom, citrus trees bursting with blossoms, and gardenia bushes releasing their creamy, hypnotic scent. The bees hum hungrily, hummingbirds and butterflies drift in and out of the blooms. It smells angelic, almost sacred - a fleeting anointing from the City of Angels. I needed to capture that moment and make it last forever.
La Trinité – The Floral Trinity
A divine trio of gardenia, jasmine, and citrus blossom. Soft yet luminous, fresh yet deeply sensual. My perfumer is French, so I gave both scents a French name to reflect their elegance.
This perfume stops people in their tracks.
“Someone smells amazing…” they say, sniffing the air.
“It’s me!” I smile, knowing La Trinité is doing its magic.
